Leaked Wireless Giant road map shows release dates for BB 7 devices, Cyclone, Calypso, Beats and more

Wireless Giant BlackBerry Road Map

While the buzz over the new BlackBerry 7 devices is still going strong, we’re still trying to pin down official dates for all devices across the board. A faithful reader sent in this internal road map of BlackBerry devices that was supposedly sent out to Wireless Giant retailers (aka BlackBerry Stores). The document shows off a ton of estimated release dates for all the latest devices, including the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930, Torch 9850/9860, Torch 9810 and even the rumored BlackBerry “Cyclone” (aka BlackBerry TV). Also on the list are Wifi Stereo devices listed as “Beats” and “Calpyso” – what these are we’re not totally sure, but they could possibly be the step up from the Bluetooth Music Gateway in Wifi form.

New suggested release dates for the BlackBerry Bold 9930, Torch 9850 and Curve 9350 on Sprint

It’s no secret that Sprint has been gearing up for release of the BlackBerry Bold 9930, Torch 9850 and Curve 9350. In fact, some of the first release date confirmations came from Sprint documentation in the past. Granted, in the time since they were first posted the release dates have changed but newest documentation updated on July 22 shows once again some release dates for upcoming BlackBerry devices. As you can see from the image both the Bold 9930 and Torch 9850 are suggested to be arriving on August 21 with the Curve 9350 arriving on Sept 9. Hopefully, these dates will stick this time around — until then, grain of salt folks.

BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 AT&T September & T-Mobile November Launch?

Lots of BlackBerrys

The rumors keep coming for the upcoming BlackBerry device lineup. The latest news coming from NerdBerry is that the BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 is coming to AT&T in September and T-Mobile in November. The full touch Torch 9850 and 9860 will be hitting CDMA carriers first with a Sprint and Verizon launch in November. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is on a different schedule with Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile getting it in August and AT&T scheduled for November. Last but not least the BlackBerry Curve 9360 is scheduled for September with a rollout to all carriers in November.

All in all this is still in rumorville but anybody else as excited as I am?

BlackBerry Monaco headed to production; BlackBerry Montana to be an 8900 or 9000 series?

mystery bb BlackBerry Monaco headed to production; BlackBerry Montana to be an 8900 or 9000 series?

One of our sources has told us that the BlackBerry Monaco, which could be the ‘Storm3′, has headed to production. We’ve also been told that RIM has almost certainly dropped the SurePress touchscreen technology from the Storm series (if this series even continues to exist). This leads us to believe that the Monaco may soon hit CDMA carriers, namely Verizon Wireless, as the replacement for a Storm3.

The Monaco is supposed to sport a 3.7-in touchscreen, trackpad, 512MB RAM, OS 6, and possibly a 1GHz processor. There was this image that hit the web, which is said to resemble the Monaco almost identically. We’re eager to find more information come to light on the Monaco, as we’ve also heard whispers RIM is testing out a new horizontal keypad. Perhaps the Monaco may be a slider?

Something else interesting we’re being told is the BlackBerry Montana (bold/touchscreen hybrid) may be either an 8900 or 9000 series device. The Montana is said to rock a Bold 9000 shell with potentially a Curve 8900 keypad. Therefore, it has been undecided on which model series to choose as a model number. Although, it has been rumored to be model 9900 for some time.

Times are interesting for RIM as they continue to develop QNX, and have plans for dual-core ‘super phones’. We don’t know if we’ll see any QNX-enabled BlackBerry smartphones in 2011, but there should be at least 4 new devices with OS 6. Out of the Monaco and Montana, which one would you get?

BlackBerry Bold 9930 and Torch 9850 appear in CelleBrite System

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 and Torch 9850 in Sprint's Cellebrite

We’re all waiting anxiously for the new devices to release. The BlackBerry Bold 9900/30 has been announced, but we’re left wondering about those “rumored” devices, like the BlackBerry Torch 9850. When will they release? When will RIM announce them? It’s all a mystery, and all we can do is piece together clues until official word is given.

Some clues we use include screenshots of launch lists that carriers receive, leaked OS for unreleased devices, and an often used indicator is when devices get loaded into CelleBrite. CelleBrite can be used as a collaborative POS system, but also has the capability to allow transfer of contacts to and from wireless devices. It’s used by quite a few carriers in their stores. What you see here is a screenshot of CelleBrite sent in by an awesome Blogger reader (thanks!), showing that the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and BlackBerry Torch 9850 have been loaded into Sprint’s CelleBrite already, leading us to think that maybe we’ll see a launch date (and official announcement for the 9850) sooner rather than later.

That’s all we have for now folks but as the day gets closer we’re sure to see more clues pop up, so keep it locked on NHCBBA for all the new info coming soon!

BlackBerry Bold 9930, BlackBerry Torch 9850 both headed to Sprint!

Some nice info was just dropped on us today for all you Sprint users looking to get ahold of a new BlackBerry in the next little while. The above list, clearly shows the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and BlackBerry monaco 9850 will be launched on Sprint soon but possibly more importantly — it also gives us the go-to-market name for the monaco. If all is correct here, the BlackBerry monaco 9850 will be placed under the BlackBerry Torch branding when released.

Google ad confirms the BlackBerry Bold 9930 coming to Verizon

Following up on the Sprint news, I’m sure a lot of Verizon folks were wondering if the BlackBerry Bold 9930 would be hitting their network as well. While it’s not exactly the same kind of confirmation we got from Sprint, it’s as solid as we’re going to get for now and that answer is — yes. Verizon customers will be getting the BlackBerry Bold 9930 as well. When, remains a mystery but — we’re fine with just knowing it’s coming soon for now.

BlackBerry Bold 9900, apollo and monza all headed to T-Mobile

T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9900

We like carrier road maps here at NHCBBA. They often give us a great perspective of what is up and coming for specific carriers. That said, road maps when leaked can often times be a little old and out of date so — try and keep that in mind as we go through the following list of devices seemingly slated for T-Mobile.

No, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of these devices all being brought to T-Mobile. Previous rumors suggested all of them listed within similar time frames as well — the problem we have with this listing is the fact the BlackBerry Bold Touch is already confirmed for T-Mobile while, the BlackBerry monza hasn’t even received an official welcoming to the family from RIM. Sure, it’s totally possible these dates are accurate but if you find the BlackBerry Bold 9900 on shelves before the monza, we’d not be surprised at all.

In any event, we’ll just have to wait and see how this road map turns out. No matter how you look at it, we’re just super stoked to see some actual dates at all for the next generation of BlackBerry smartphones.

More Live Photos Of The BlackBerry Touch 9860!

More Live Photos Of The BlackBerry Touch 9860!

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen some live photos of the rumored BlackBerry Touch 9860 smartphone, also known as the Monaco and Monza. A few weeks ago we saw two brief videos that showed a nice bit of the device. As a reminder, this device will supposedly have a 1.2GHz processor, OpenGL ES 2.0, 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording, will run BlackBerry 7 (formerly BlackBerry 6.1) and more. This photo must be recent since the Touch 9860 in it is already running OS 7.0. Is anyone exciting for this device or are you more excited for the Bold 9900 like I am? Apparently the poster of these pics took them with the new Bold Touch.
